Parking lots can be tricky to navigate, as they are very often congested with vehicles, people and sometimes objects such as shopping carts. As a result, car accidents are a frequent occurrence in these confined spaces. Most people seem to believe that all parties involved in a parking lot collision are equally responsible. However, in Ontario, under the provincial Insurance Act, this is not the case.
